GRAFTON CARPENTRY // BOOKING TERMS

Booking terms and conditions

These terms explain how quotations, booking dates, deposits, approvals, services and payments are handled through the secure booking portal.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. Who we are

“we”, “us” and “our” mean Grafton Carpentry Interior Door Specialists LTD. Our contact details are: Unit 2, Phoenix Business Park
Brindley Road
Hinckley
LE10 3BY · 07703 578 683 · hello@graftoncarpentry.com.

2. Your quotation and contract

Your quotation and secure booking page describe the agreed work, price, deposit, proposed date and any artwork or files requiring approval. Please tell us promptly if anything is incorrect. A contract is formed when you accept the booking and we successfully receive the requested deposit or full payment, unless your quotation states an earlier point of acceptance.

Any work outside the agreed description will be discussed with you and may require a revised price or completion date before it proceeds.

3. Prices and tax

Prices shown on the booking page include VAT or other applicable tax unless clearly marked otherwise. If the applicable rate changes before the tax point, we will apply the rate required by law and explain any resulting adjustment.

4. Deposit and booking date

The proposed date is not secured until the requested deposit or full payment has cleared. Your deposit is an advance payment credited against the total price. If you cancel, we will assess any amount retained fairly against costs and losses directly caused by the cancellation, take reasonable steps to reduce those losses, and refund any balance not reasonably required to cover them. Nothing in these terms makes a payment non-refundable where the law requires a refund.

5. Rescheduling and delays

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change the booking date. A replacement date depends on capacity and may affect the completion estimate. Dates and completion times are estimates unless expressly agreed as fixed. If events outside our reasonable control cause delay, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect.

6. Consumer cancellation rights

If you are a consumer and the contract is made online, by telephone or away from our premises, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right. Where you expressly ask us to begin services during that period, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for services supplied before cancellation. Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right once production has begun. These provisions do not affect rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or improperly supplied work.

7. Artwork, proofs and customer-supplied material

Where proofs are supplied, approval confirms that you have checked the current proof set, including spelling, numbers, dimensions, layout and placement. Screen colours and scaled proofs are a guide. Approval authorises production from that proof. Changes requested after approval may incur reasonable additional costs, which we will agree with you first.

You confirm that you have permission to use logos, images, trademarks and other material you provide.

8. Customer information and property

Please provide accurate information and tell us about any known condition, restriction or circumstance that may affect the work. We will use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or inaccurate information we could not reasonably have identified, but nothing excludes responsibility for damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

9. Completion and remaining balance

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due on completion and before finished goods or customer property are released. You can pay through the secure balance link or another method agreed with our team.

10. Quality and statutory rights

We will perform services with reasonable care and skill. Goods we supply must meet the standards required by law. If there is a problem, please give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect it and provide an appropriate remedy. Your statutory rights are not excluded or restricted.

11. Personal information and portal records

We use customer and booking information to administer and evidence the contract, process payments, manage approvals and provide support. The portal records acceptance, proof approvals, payments and page-view times. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

12. Complaints and general terms

Please contact us first and include your booking reference and details of the issue. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.

Model cancellation form

Complete and return this only if you wish to cancel a contract for which a statutory cancellation right applies.
